1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Culture Circuit ("the Service"), including the Culture Circuit Google Meet™ Add-On, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Culture Circuit is a cross-cultural healthcare simulation platform that enables teams to practice communication through AI-powered role-playing scenarios. The Service includes:
- Web-based simulation platform
- Google Meet™ Add-On for in-meeting simulations
- AI-powered real-time coaching and feedback
- Analytics and reporting dashboards
- Team management and organization tools
3. User Accounts
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Keep your account credentials secure
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Share content that is defamatory, obscene, threatening, or discriminatory
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Use the Service to transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
- Use the AI features to generate harmful, misleading, or inappropriate content
5. Simulation Content
Simulations are educational scenarios designed for professional development. Content generated during simulations (messages, AI feedback, resolution plans) is:
- Owned by the organization that created the simulation
- Accessible to organization administrators and simulation facilitators
- Used for AI feedback and report generation
- Not shared with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy
6. Google Meet™ Add-On
The Culture Circuit Google Meet™ Add-On is subject to additional terms:
- The Add-On operates within Google Meet™'s iframe environment
- Authentication is handled via Google OAuth 2.0
- The Add-On does not access audio, video, or screen sharing content from Google Meet™
- Use of the Add-On is also subject to Google™'s Terms of Service and Google Workspace Marketplace™ Terms
7. Subscription Plans and Payment
Culture Circuit offers various subscription plans (Free, Starter, Professional, Enterprise). Paid plans are billed through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan:
- You authorize recurring charges to your payment method
- You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice
8. AI-Generated Content
The Service uses AI models (including OpenAI and Anthropic) to provide coaching, feedback, and scenario generation. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated content is for educational purposes only and does not constitute professional medical advice
- AI responses may not always be accurate or appropriate
- You should not rely solely on AI feedback for clinical decisions
- We are not liable for any actions taken based on AI-generated content
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, and AI models, is owned by Culture Circuit. You retain ownership of content you create within simulations, subject to the organization's data access rights.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CULTURE CIRCUIT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service immediately ceases
- We may delete your data after a 30-day grace period
- Organization data may be retained for the organization's remaining active members
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
